Diversity and inclusion

"Since 2020, the Inclusive Community Lab has seen academies working crossover on issues of social security, inclusive employment and broad welfare, in short, we are working towards a more inclusive society where it is good for everyone. We do this in studio groups of students, practitioners, policymakers/government, lecturers, lectors and experts by experience. Diversity is central to our approach because it leads to different perspectives. Not only do we work on diversity and inclusion, we do so in an inclusive way. Indeed, these diverse perspectives form the basis for innovative ideas and provide input for hopeful education. Because we do not want to train our students to be problem solvers but rather social makers. We need new answers for today's issues to stop doing things that no longer work!

On the Knowledge Creating Day, you can experience for yourself how we do this and, more importantly, how you can do this yourself. Because we can all contribute something. We will show you the current issues and give a glimpse of what we will be doing in the second semester. We will also show some examples of prototypes by students, making the practical applicability of our approach clear. We invite you to actively think about how our approach can contribute to your own curriculum or how you can contribute to the lab, as we are always looking for new possibilities. Let's discover together how the Inclusive CommunityLab Xperience can be a valuable addition to our shared commitment to innovative and effective education."

This workshop will be offered in English and Dutch.
